James Weston is prepared for a busy set of Saturday nights to come. Recently James has been spinning for an agency on the back of his successes from the FUNKtion night on Wednesdays in Bar Med Aylesbury. Two Friday night sets at Hog’s Head in Aylesbury with James Weston at the helm saw the agency win Saturday night's entertainments bill. James is due to play the next two Saturdays with more commitments in the New Year; four and a half hours, from 8pm, of chilled out disco/funky House flavours.
Delish is the new name in town. And Saturdays during December, The Square in Leicester will host the new night conceived by Slim Jim Lansdown and ROWL Productions. In what will be a gradual phase of entertainment roll-outs featuring live percussion, fire breathers, stilt walkers, magic acts, House music is the core binding element that will see Delish create a fresh, friendly and vibrant atmosphere. Several test-bed Saturdays with Chris Rogers (venue score), Slim Jim, James Weston and other guests have already proven that Leicester is crying out for a local friendly House music policy. James Weston and Slim Jim Lansdown will perform together on four decks (and CD players!) on Saturday 21st December after the success of the previous show. Expect more to come in the New Year!
