it’s what’s up front that counts!

Finally, James Weston touches down in Oxford on 5th June! This time last year friends, Sisters in Sound, fresh from some of their SWEET! shenanigans at The Bridge in Oxford, put forward a contact for a potential gig. Change of plan/venue and a gig offering that James was unable to make in January due to being away in Canada has turned this in to a year of anticipation! Well, it’s been well worth the wait! Simple, a well established night in Oxford, has found a new home in The Backroom @ The Bully on Cowley Road. Oxford is well known for its House music scene, home to Slide and Massive Records for starters; Simple has been host to players Nicky Blackmarket and Hattie Lovehearts (Hed Kandi) recently. James has been to a few Simple gatherings and it’s safe to say it is one of those nights that maintains your faith in House music - intimate, friendly and you can’t help but dance!
On the flip, James Weston is back in St. Albans on Easter Sunday with a tasty early set for the Delish "all-dayer" at The Bell.
Actually... James Weston touches down in Oxford sooner than we thought... catch James spinning soothing House grooves from 7pm on Easter Sunday at the Kiss Bar for the SWEET! Pre-party warm up to SWEET! at The Bridge.
And another surprise appearance for Thirstdays at Thirst, Thursday 29th April!
Mixes and Chart sound clips on this site have been enhanced, we hope! All mixes and clips now stream MP3’s, which should improve access for those bandwidth challenged peeps ;-) Any feedback is greatly appreciated. New mix is waiting to be streamed!.
